The Gym page allows you to prep your fighters for the fight:

• Have access to each fighter's card you own

• Check their actual record and past fights results

• Assign them an equipment card to boost their Technical & Personal Stats

As a Manager you are entitled to hire new fighters, select trainers to increase your fighters’ stats, but also improve the equipment in your gym.
